I was just reading the makeup tutorial and it just reminded me of several people have you ever met those girls you HAVE TO WEAR MAKEUP I'm just curious to hear 1) what they do 2) why they do it if you dont want to read much, just skip to the bottom for the conclusion I know of three girls like this the first girl can never step out of the house with make up I've been to her house many times while she was putting on make up so i've seen her without make up she's equally pretty without make up, she is actually REALLY pretty so i never understand why she refuses to go out without powder or conceller or something or like has to wear eye shadow i dont think 8 am classes care if your eye lids are green or not the second girl can not be SEEN without make up she would make everyone wait for her for half hour, because she doesn't have her face on one time when waiting for her and she stepped out ready she freaked out and said, I forgot to put on toner and i said "So?" (i was pushing her out of the door at the same time cause we were running behind on time) and she kept trying to explain to me why it was SOOOOO important, and when it is applied, and that if she wanted to put on toner that she would have to wash all her make up off, than put on the toner, than reapply everything i kept telling her that "I dont get it, is it sooooo important that you can't NOT use it for one day" she looked at me rather dissapointed becuase i didn't understand why it was soooo important third girl I never knew she wore much make up maybe a little powder maybe sometimes some eye shadow I've had sleep overs with this girl there I have hung out with this girl a lot but one day, a big group of us went to a water amusment park so none of the girls wore any make up all of the girls just ended up starring at her when we first saw her we barely even reconized her, and she didn't look very ~cough~ good because of watching their reactions, kinda made me change my opinion towards make up I rather rarely wear make up, therefore when I do I will get reactions like "Oh you look pretty today" instead of always wearing make up, and on the day that you don't you get silent reactions like "oh she forgot to put her face on today ~puke~ " I dont want to sound mean or offend anyone but i notice the more make up a girl wears on a regular basis : the more superficial they seem to become
I know one person, my best friend she wears make up all the time. I don't even notice taht shes wearing make up because it looks so natrual. I have nothing against girls who always wear make up, but as long as they don;t cake it up Im good. Uhh what my best friend does is, she uses coverup, or foundation, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara and ocassionally lip gloss. Ohh I just remember another girl, I went to high school with this girl and the amount of make up she wears is just incredable, she would cover up her acnie and you can still see the bumps and everything. The cover up doesn't match her skin tone she'd wear fake lashes and they look like spider legs.
i knew this girl who put on bare make up like...and it did not look good...her make up was really thick n u could see it so her face looked chalky...=/..also she uses fake tan or sumfin..maybe its just blusher and foundation but anyways she was ORANGE...lol... i think when it comes to make up: Less is always good.. as for me...i've never put on make up n never used it b4 only once but that was for prom...imo, i dont feel the need to...the closest thing that comes to make up is vaseline for my lips and thats it....
I guess yuu can say that... but some people who are pretty still think negative about themselves and how they look
Make up is suposed to make a gurl feel more pretty... but i know what u mean by some gurls cant go out with out make up...and the amount of time that some gurls have to use inorder to put make up on...i personally use make up very often...usually when i go out... and for school...i would rather sleep a bit more...so i just put eyeliner and mascara on...
i wear makeup everyday. i'm not a bitch. (most of the time, haha). i just like to look "put together". i don't really see anything wrong with that.
honestly I think most of the people in the westernized world have a high amount of negative feels about themselves. We compare ourselves to others and always find stuff that others have that we dont, whether it be money, looks, smarts, or even luck.
^yeah, that's quite a big factor. i still know a lot of people from middle school and during that time nearly no one wore make up. but then we got older. and became freshman in high school. and that is when the make up rage started. i have some friends who like to wear it because it enhances their image while others wear very basic toner/concealer to cover up acne. some go fanatic EVERY DAY with every single thing you can think of on their face. personally, i don't want any of my friends/potential future husband creating a specific image of me in their minds with make up on and when it's off, their reactions are "ohh.." (in a negative way). natural beauty's the way to go! i only wear very minimal for weddings and such. maybe a few dabs of foundation and lip gloss. that's it.
i'm not obsessed as in having to cake my face with makeup every day before school, but i HAVE to wear eyeliner and lipgloss when i go out. yeah, i think it's that once you wear it, you get use to that feeling and if you don't wear it, you feel really ugly. once i had an eye infection and couldn't put on eyeliner when going out, and i just felt so self-conscious. i felt like as though i was naked. i felt so ugly going out without makeup, which i know sounds so superficial, but that's how it is.
I don't wear makeup like ever ... but that's because I don't know how to use it O.O if I go somewhere fancy, one of my friends help me. and I don't do my hair ever because it's permed and I have no idea what to do with it ... but yeah I know some people that can't go out without makeup, even if it's just a little eyeliner and stuff. but I don't think it's because of pressure or anything, it's just part of their routine, since they do it everyday they're used to it. but yeah this guy above me said, it's just like people who do their hair everyday .. it's either because they like to look pretty or it's just routine
less make up is gd =P do not try to hide the truth as one day the truth will be revealed =P pshhtt coma88 comment hair and make up is different =P
Oh I knew one girl who never leave the house without make up and had me and 2 other friends wait for her for half an hour and I was quite mad at her at the time because we traveled all over to the UK for a gig and didn't want to miss our front row place. The two other friends were dudes and they begged me to pull that girl out of the bathroom lol. (and this girl also looked beautiful without make up)
hmm...it just depends on my mood. Maybe some eyeliner and mascara once in a while. Oh, I also use concealers after an all nighters. ^^ have to hide those dark rings. I don't know much about makeup so you can barely notice anything on me when I do apply it. In fact, one time i asked someone if my mascara was running because i was afraid of having those big dark circles and she ended up staring at me and i quote, "no, i didn't even know you were wearing any!" I wear it when I think I'm looking a little sloppy that day and need something to brighten up my face.
I wore make up like...every day when i first started my internship....then i got lazy and just applied whenever i fe feel like it....once back in NL...i guess it will get worse...i think ill only use make up when i go out to parties uve got a perm and u dont know what to do with it....=/? perm is the best hair to do creative stuff with.... its not that i dont love my bob....but...oh how i miss my curly curls sometimes....*sigh* I have short curls....have to straighten them like EVERYDAY....>_< but im too lazy.... And yeah...of course all those girls wear make up to look pretty....=/ nothing wrong with it as long as they dont look like pancakes
yeah .. I don't think I'm very girly -tongue2 I'll do my hair and makeup like .. only on special occasions
