okay... the whole series is alreayd a drag... but do u think its gona b a rushed ending? i mean... can they realli fit EVERYTHING is like 5 ep and whats gona happen... cuz if u think about it... ron isnt awake yet... and didnt it seem like ron and toby is gona get married? but wth in 5 eps... we're gona see what happens to to joe, and everyone else... altho its gona b pretty dramatic... but it just doenst cut it for me if we onli hav a week left of this "grand production" and we see nothing happening to joe... thats sooo stupid... and we still dont kno what year they r in ne more... thats just even more retarded... this series is good to a certian point but wit the drag and all and calling it a grand production cuz they hav both h/k and chna ator/actress and was films at diff places... its TOO OVERATE
Alright, have you watched any TVB series before? TVB (even joint production, I think TVB has more say) will finish everything in the last episode. Ron will easily wake up next week, probably 57 or 58 (my guess). He's not going to propose to her, but reveal his true feeelings to her. It's because Ron is such a shy guy, I don't think we seen a scene where he true expressed his love towards Toby (i.e. he never held her hand before, as stated by Toby during the horse riding scene). Joe will butt heads with Raymond and everyone else once Ron wakes up and reveals the truth or something like that. We'll have to see. The year is at least 2006. In episode 54, they held a conference before Wah Zhe's IPO stating that their prediction in the company's success to 2007 and 2008. And yes, how time passes through each episode is too hard to track. I.e. Zhun Mun proposed to Myolie even though they were only going out for like 5 episodes. Yes, this series is heavily overrated. It's an alright series, nothing exceptional like HoG.
i don't think the ending is too rushed because having everything happening in the last 10 episodes is to dragged out versus being able to put it all in the last few eps.
how is it not rushed? drag for like 47 chapters and then u get a rushed ending trust me u cant end it properly its gona b the crappiest ending but all we're watching now is whats gona happen to joe.. thats the onli ending we want to watch
HOG is not as good either. The cliche ending was terrible, terrible and destroyed the series. It was only popular because of MSSSS. KOOOOOOK YING
Well indeed this drama is draggy from the early part itself.... At first I do find it interesting but as they keep repeating the problems.....its getting into dull mode...... As for the ending....~~ it might be a little rushed as they try to cope everything into the finale.... Lets hope they dont screw it up . .........We are 5 more episodes to the ending anyway~~~...
yes this series was so draggy i stopped watching on ep 30 something n just skipped to watch the ending

well, i wouldnt call it draggy becasue as u kno, it's 60eps. Most series with 50 eps or more, pplz call it draggy. It's not like i like all the scenes. Some scenes were definetly boring. But, i still woulnt call it draggy tho.
This serie is suppose to be from 1997-2007. The last 6 eppie or so (correct me if wrong) was set in 2007 and the ending is around July 1, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the transfer of sovereignty. They have the subtitles showing that in one of those eppies. So over the course of 10 years, overall, it's a well wrapped ending. What else needs to be said?
