Yea, I get the same problem when I burn it to DVD. I convert the rmvb file to avi and then burn it to a disk. There's a delay in sound. Anyone know how to fix this?

Why converted to AVI? Is it not better to convert to DVD then burn on DVD and watch on TV? Ihave converted many serials from rmvb to DVD without any problem.

I got the same problem when I used Win AVI, it's not for all dramas, but it seems it does that to most Chinese RMVB's. I don't know why either. It doesn't matter if I convert it to AVI, DVD, or WMV, there's still a sound delay. If you don't need to work with subtitles, I have found Any Video Converter to be very helpful and easy to use and you don't get the sound delay anymore. Just convert it to Mpeg (NTSC or PAL) and it plays on most DVD players.

    Hope this helps! :)

I have noticed that when I download series from the download section I am unable to use eovideo, winavi, virtualdubmod to convert the files from rmvb to avi.

I tried changing the file name to english as well but still no go...until I realized that the series rmvb files were contained in a folder with chinese characters in it as well. I changed that to english as well and bam we're in business.

If you're having issues previously, this might be the solution.

Try use Ultra Converter it works perfectly and the time use to converting is even shorter than winavi 8.0

Turning off all unnecessary program like MSN, or anything that pops up. 2ndly, do not press the pause button, just let it run by itself and do not do other things. I am using WinAVI and so far so good... only delay if i forgot to turn off my MSN.

    -rolleyes

Really depends on the raw audio. With WinAVI it really doesn't do anything to elaborate with the file itself, it assumes.
If ppl find problems with the audio out put it self:
Rip the vid by itself & then audio by itself.
Lets face it, alot of different compressions different ppl make.
Personally i think WinAVI is a bunch of crap, no offence to ppl that love the program. Its a basic program to begin with.
