I have watch this anime many years back but it seems to be hanging half way. Everything stops at the train station. Anyone know why?
the anime caught up too fast to the manga. without anything to base from, the anime got cancelled, like the rurouni kenshin anime.
What's the license status of this? Wish a good studio would resurrect this, along with Hajime no Ippo! Capeta as well, when it has a good deal more content. Some of these more old school feeling sport manga/animes are the best. Well, Slam Dunk is old school sport themed...automatically making it made of awesomeness and win.
manga is licensed. slam dunk itself is too old to be adapted into a part 2 anime, which is a shame considering how naruto and bleach is ongoing, surviving seasons of fillers. i think slam dunk is better than these two.
OMG, someone uploaded SD!!! I miss my set... I would say it depicted some of the best sports moves in manga history... Got to love the last match (which reportedly lasted 7 volumes of the manga)
I wish slam dunk could have continue, but did anyone watch Dear Boys. Which is another Basketball theme series.
Dear Boys wasn't that good compared to Slam Dunk, but I agree that they should have continued with that anime version to match the manga. That last game vs. the #1 Team in Japan (Forgot their name) that would've been sweet to watch!!!
