unwanted Gifts

what do you do with them?

 

just keep em, cause they are gifts after all

 

if its no use throw it away. or give it to sum1 that u think will use it

 

I just keep them, because...well, like it was said earlier, it's still a gift. If it's taking up space, I'll just put it somewhere else. I rarely throw gifts away.

 

gifts are gifts, you have to keep them unless their like totally useless to you

 

sometimes a gift means more than the receiver thinks.

 

well if they r unwanted then i guess it can't b given by someone that's important to me... hmmm... try to sell them n make some $$

 

Treasure them cus when u get older, u ain't gonna get a whole lot.

ebay. sell it. i am a minimalist. i do a clean out every 2 months.
on a side note, whenever i buy a gift for someone, i always make sure they get a gift receipt. i would rather they get something they like then hold onto something they don't like/will never use. waste of space and my money.

Usually they sit on the shelves collecting dusts, if not, i would be using them regularly.

 

Well i normally give my presents from my friends to my younger cousins....

If it was like soap/lotion/stuff for bath or something like that, my mum just takes it and uses it...I always get given these things and I cant use it due to ecezma

 

no way dude. i LOVE the stuff i have. u can have the stuff i don't want. -whistle

i would give them money but it's so impersonal. i know it sounds weird-->buy a gift cause it's more personal but be okay with it if they return it. but it works for me.
u can share the stuff i don't want with kdot. haha

 

i keep every gifts. I think only people who likes you give gifts to you.

 

depends on who gave the gift and what the occassion was and the sentimental value placed on them. If it was a birthday present and the person wasnt that close then i would not mind if i gave them away if i had no use for it and also no room to put it somewhere. However if the person was really close then i would keep them

 

I totally agree - why keep presents of someone who's not close to you an dthey probably just picked it up at a $2 shop or something ? hahahaha

 

haha. that;s y I dont give expensive stuff or nothing at all cus if they dont like it, it gets thrown away.

it cost me money ar. so I m still waitng for stuff from whoever dont want it .

depends really....if its something i really wont use i either offer it to my family or give it to charity..as i have got a lot of sh*t around the house already.....
