The latest installment in "The Mummy" franchise, "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" has started shooting in Montreal, Canada. However, new actors to the group, Chinese kung fu master Jet Li and Malaysia-born Chinese actress Michelle Yeoh haven't joint the set yet, Xinhua News Agency reports. The report said that the filming will in September move to Xi'an in China. At that time the two Chinese actors will join the entourage. The film will be shot at Xi'an's famed Terracotta Warriors Museum, making it the first Hollywood production allowed to shoot in the renowned surrounds of life-size statues. Shooting is expected to be finished in November. Public release of the film has been slated for August 1, 2008. Source: CRI
Michelle Yeoh ... love her. I hope this will be good. Jet Li ... i STILL thought he is RETIRED!!! what a liar! hehe
Why is it always the asian guy have to be some kind of grand kung fu master? :/ Is it just too hard for hollywood to decline the role as AMs as martial arts specialist? Eeesh
Jet Li retired from making Wushu movies...not hollywood movies ...this movie should be interesting...i still want to see his new movie coming out this fall
