Soy sauce made from human hair

hey ... this story dated back in 2004. i'm not sure if anyone is aware of it; but thought this will be an interesting knowledge; especially soy sauce lovers out there!

cuz i usually eat kikkoman or lee kum kee soy sauce =/

I heard a similar case on the news last week or so. Producers of buns in China or HK, forget which were using cardboard and mixing them in with the meat in buns to save money...

so confused, how does it taste the same when you replace so many ingrediants

 

I think it's simply getting the aminos from the hair and not actually replacing everything

a thats nasty.... from time to time ...u hear these kinds of stories from the mainland.
food safety is really a issue there. once there was this fake babymilk powder....
hmm..... human hair is nasty...but they could have chosen black paint with soy sauce aroma to fake it...they are really inventive.

 

is there by any chance a peice of flaky dandruff floatin around the salty black seasoning sauce?
