Lol....milk does not help you to lose or gain weight in a sense....if you drink full cream milk obviously you would gain weight right but if you drink low fat or better yet skim milk then you're not gonna gain weight. Milk is a nutritional source of calcium and protein...so technically it helps you to build good bones and muscles rather than weight control instrument if ya get wat i mean...-blush
! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! there are a lot of ads in the US stating that milk can help you lose weight i was confused by this, so i started doing some research it's not all published in there but it's something to do with calcium and helping burn more calories so it's more like drink your milk to get your daily intake of calcium but to make sure your not getting to many extra calories go for skim milk
fat makes you fat milk can contain fat, therefore go for skim milk/ non-fat milk avoid cream, or even half and half
my ex hated milk, but she found out from somewhere to drink milk as part of her diet, she drinks low fat milk. and im surprised she drinks it now.
Nope, not that I heard of. If you don't want gain so much weight from milk then have those semi skimmed ones.
Lol.....same for me...i don drink milk on their own its either i have with cereals or put them in coffee....
I hate milk... I have no idea why bu I can't stand the taste at all. If I had to take it, I'll take low fat. I can tolerate that a little.
Milk is good I think milk can get you fat if you drink Homo. But milk can definitely keep your calium level.
actually, there have been many commercials here in Canada and US promoting milk as helpful in losing weight. however, i'm not sure if these are true. i've never tried it though cuz i'm sorta lactose intolerant.
the only way i could think of milk helping you lose weight is when you have to #3 like crazy after drinking that stuff... i have never drank milk before cause im allergic to it, not lactose... i won't dream of drinking it either way.
this is the first time i heard about drinking milk to lose weight...hmmm...i've read in an article you can increase your metabolism by eating celery...i think drinking water to lose weight works for some and not others...you have to sweat it out or other or you'll just gain water weight...
Hmmm, recent studies have shown that calcium supplementation can help you lose weight by increasing thermogenesis. The results suggest thats that when calcium are present in fat cells, the more fat you will burn. So, drinking low-fat milk or calcium tablets may help you lose weight faster with the proper diet and exercise regime. Therefore, don't expect results by just drinking milk or taking calcium pills.
