Can you guys help me out with some suggestions of anime Series or movie or OVA s which are 1. Meant for mature audiances. 2. None of those cute stuff. 3. Action packed. The more blood and gore the better 4. No chirpy annoying female characters . 5. Minimal romance Apperciate your suggestions
I would recommend these two anime. Some people think is boring though... but I think they are good to watch in some way. Gantz Texhnolyze
I haven't seen much mature anime lately... cause I have been busy at my summer job. Anyway I will keep you posted if I see any good one out there. Edit: just saw an anime call "Darker than Black", is not so much blood and stuff, but it got a cool story. hope u like what I suggested lol...
How about Saint Seiya? Okay it is old, but it fits the description Here an impression:
All that description sounds like a perfect match for Claymore. There's almost no romance, all blood & gore, no cutesy shit and it's mostly action.
ok, i dont know if you are still looking for a "mature" themed anime. my recommendations is BRESERK first anime series i actually watched, a little bit old, but DEFINATELY worth the watch. if you download or buy the dvds, i hope you enjoy, because i did! ken cheers
BLOOD+ was good... hahah but wen it was airing in japan, it was broadcasting at 5/6 pm..*think of the childrens*
The relationship between Teresa and Clare during those episodes are somewhat romance, are they not? Besides that, I'd also agree Claymore is an appropriate suggestion.
I didn't say there were no romance. I said there were "almost no romance." I intentionally phrased it that way to avoid being corrected if anyone was going to be technical enough to bring up that brief "semi-romantic" moment between Clare-Teresa. Other than that, there's basically no romance at all (if you wanted to take technicality to the extreme, Clare-Raki could be debatable).
I'm nearly done w/ the series and it didn't leave too big an impression on me. I wouldn't say that the anime is bad, but it definitely isn't great either. The plot is very random and the story goes all over the place without real explanations of the happenings. Some aspects that I felt were .. downsides to the anime: -The way they included ENGLISH in the second season. It just sounds pathetic and annoying. -Some (or most) of these gunfights are wayyy too fake where 1-2 surrounded gunmen ALWAYS seem to be able to take out 30 other gunmen without sustaining any injuries. On episode 21, Gin, wielding a sword, runs into a room with 5-6 other enemy gunmen and managed to dodge every bullet shot at him and then killing every one of them. WTF is that? -It's annoying how Balalaika required Rock to be a translator when she spoke Japanese throughout the series or when they're in Japan, some of the characters are talking as if they don't know Japanese, when in fact, they've been speaking it all along.
under those conditions hmmm i'd suggest Grappler Baki/Baki the Grappler (funi) but yea it's pretty action packed and gets pretty violent. romance is definitely at the minimal stance. and yea it fits the criteria.
