Now that I think of it, heaven isn't such a great place. There's nothing to do in heaven. When there is no goal, then it is boring. I can almost imagine a guy dies and happily enters heaven thinking of paradise. But no.....the guy enters and sees a couple bearded men sitting quietly in a circle reading the bible and praying.

Ah, there it is again. Whatever goodness in the world is attributed to the Christian God by Christians, and everything wrong is attributed to the sinfulness of men. What a way to be evasive of responsibility. Let us not forget the sin committed by Christians in the name of their God. To be truthful I am not sure if it is an EXCLUSIVE Catholic thing or Christian thing in general (Catholic and Protestant and other sects included): Witch hunt, holy crusade, holy war between Protestants and Catholics? Somehow killing in the name of God is not killing? Or are they so naive to think that killing in the name of God, then repent and confess about it, will not have consequences?
I don't think it really matters to me whether someone tells me I am going to hell or not. The more christians tell me I will go to hell if I don't believe in christianity, the more I don't believe in it.
I concur on that attitude. Only time will tell on that matter. And if you ask me? I would probably have my last laugh at the moment of my death, just before my consciousness dissipates into void (which is the concept of death in my belief, ashes to ashes, dust to dust)

I am sure every christian can think for him/herself. But I also know that although every christian can think for him/herself, they all believe and follow the bible and god completely with no doubts. By saying mindless slaves, I am saying that christians completely believe, trust, and follow whatever they think the bible and god tells them to act and do. They have the capability to think for themselves, but ultimately, they will pursue the teachings of god. Now for the 2nd part: That is my quote. "Christians who believe in everything the bible states and god is brainwashed" For #1, christians believe in nothing else except only the bible and god. However, I consider the definition of a christian as a person who believes and follows everything in the bible and everything about god. Any person who doesn't believe and follow christianity completely (or follows another religion) is not considered a true christian. I don't know how you (mgfcortez) define a christian, but whenever I am referring to a christian, that will be my definition. Therefore, for my statements #1 and #2, the meaning is the same since I consider christians to believe in nothing else except the ways of the bible and god.
hold on guys. i don't think that we should start insulting each other over this issue.... regardless of whether you are a christian or not and whether you mean it or not, but there are people who are being insulted by what's being said in this. just a reminder to the christians here. God said that we WILL face opposition and other uncomfortable things. but the main point is that we have to stay strong. you shouldn't try to just convert every person that you see/talk to. first you have to put yourselves in their shoes and understand the points that they're making. think about what they're saying FIRST instead of just rejecting it. don't forget to that we should love our neighbors. everyone, please try to understand that christians are trying very hard. we're just like you. teenagers who are struggling. we're NO better than you even though we like to pretend that we're superior because we're christians. we've all sinned. and try not to judge a christian because they said something wrong. we can't all be perfect and it's not fair to put down christianity before you try it out. What makes you think we don't? It's exactly what we do here, except for the minority ... They show disrespect to others of the different religions or beliefs. If you take your time and look around in this section, you would have noticed the particular offensive ones. I started this 'ANALYSIS ON EVERY RELIGION/BELIEF' thread. Now if I am biased, I would have said, "EVERYONE IS INVITED EXCEPT CHRISTIANS"... but no, i said "EVERYONE IS INVITED". Just like you, we have the same amount of faith in our beliefs, so did it occur to you how offensive it is if you try to shove your beliefs down others' throats? We do listen, some people are the ones who are guilty of not doing so. If you'd like, I can point out some particular threads you can look into, then YOU decide...
