Hey ccho... how come I only hear Mandarin even when I mess with the speakers (left/right)?

 

You don't need to choose left or right audio.
In media player classic, You go to Play> Audio> then you will see 2 selection audio. 1 is Mandarin and the other 1 is cantonese.
