I have spots on my sclera (the white of our eyes) not big spots, because obviously, you'd see em in my avatar then..I have multiple small spots ranging from red-brown to blue, black, and grayish-blue. I took some close-up pics of my eyes with the intention of posting it, so that you could see an example of what it looks like, but I couldn't see the spots too well at all in em.. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has these spots. I know its genetic, because my mum has em too, but why do we have it? I'm not sure.. My assumption atm is because my fam is mixed. I tried to do some research on em, but I couldn't find out too much about it except that I found out the name for this, which is as mentioned above, Scleral Melanocytosis. So if you by any chance, know anything about it, please let me know.-blush

Hm, correct me if I'm wrong...but that article is about skin diseases... Scleral Melanocytosis has to do with the eyes and its not a disease. Thank you though. =)
i think it's the side effects from being strike by lightning twice and having a black toe; something about blood circulation got stuck on the black toe and clot right by your eye balls. AND YES! i know you are going to kick me out of this thread too.

Leong, Calgary, Alberta- Canadian doctors ... can you trust them? EDIT: Oculodermal melanocytosis (ODM) is a congenital melanocytic hyperpigmentation of the face and ocular tissue. So I'm going to guess it's hyperpigmentation in your eye balls. As to what causes it? Like all hyperpigmentation, it's the side effects of being struck by lightning
