inspired by the "guys wear tight pants" thread, this thought came to mind: why do guys like to wear their pants so low that sometimes i'm afraid it'll just slip right off? especially at the beach? -huh and mods, if this topic has already been discussed, feel free to remove.
This style is still around huh? Used to be quite popular some time ago... Think those rappers promoting got sth to do with it.
HAHAHA, yehh... i actaully like some guys wearoing their jeans low.. kekekeke* but not tooo low now. But some guys looks alright in them.

in SF people wear their baggy jeans down the butt to show their boxers, it started with rappers and hip hoppers, guys feels cooler, but it's not really a trend anymore, more like 3-4 years ago
well if it relates to tight jeans, it just allows you to have more crotch space with tight jeans ;P. then there are the people with baggy jeans worn low, i guess they just really want to TRY to look bad ass (learned from a teacher that long time ago, prisoners had to wear their pants low since they couldnt have belts).
like trends, many female trends are based off male treads IE the PANTS have you ever seen it go backwards has wearing a bra, skirts, hair accessories ever been a tread for guys? but wearing pants, belts, ties, shoulder pads those are treads that have become popular with girls ok X the shoulder pads for this day, but you get the point guys wear there pants low notice girls pants are getting lowered too????? I guess it has to do with male dominance in most Western countries, women generally has to emulate a masculinity (thus the pant suit and shoulder pads, which exist to this day, just not the outright power suit) Male fashion is about classics (mostly) while female fashion is about recycle and reinvention. Guys' tight pant and low-rise pants can be quite annoying @_@b But I concur that it depends on who the guy is... And yeah, @NYC and @fearless: those picture are totally uncalled for.
i wear my pants so that it covers my belly button -bigsmile im kidding.... i dont wear them so low that you can see my whole ass, and i dont wear them so high that i look like a nerdy penguin. i wear them normally lmao and no loose pants.... no tight pants either.... just loose fit and its all good.
the rudies and grungies in my school like to wear their trousers low..low enough so their underwear can be seen..=/
