Wednesday February 28, 2007 Hong Kong Sammi's new song debuts today! Sammi's much anticipated new song will debut on the airwaves today, according to numerous reports from the Hong Kong newspapers. The new song titled <Long Live Love!> 《 愛 情 萬 歲 》 has been slated for heavy promotion by East Asia, since this is Sammi's first song release since joining the company 2 years ago. Apparently, East Asia has set aside a 6 figure sum to promote the song. Sammi, commenting on the new song, said, "For this song, I've tried a new singing style so I hope everyone will like it. It took a little longer than usual to record the song because I'm also doing the harmony parts, but I like the effect that it has created, and I like it very much." According to Wallace Kwok, Sammi's manager, he had received the song some 2 years ago but only let Sammi listen to it at the end of last year. Sammi picked the song immediately upon hearing it and chose it to be the main plug song. According to the newspapers, the lyrics talk about the relationship between a couple who manage to continue to appreciate each other despite the negativity accorded to the relationship from outsiders. In the song, the couple also hope that they can eventually have children. Rumours thus are starting to surface about whether the song reflects Sammi's relationship with long-time boyfriend Andy Hui. At the same time, Sammi's concert <Show Mi Sammi Cheng in Concert 2007> was also announced, and it is slated to run for 4 shows beginning May 18, with priority booking starting on March 21, the most expensive ticket being HKD480. i'm not too sure of the song..her voice is less high pitched:S hmm i like the album cover it's different-
She said in an interview that she is older and her voice went lower too. It happens with age. So she is aiming for a lower voice rather than her usual high voice.
