Gadget candy came across a few very nice pieces created out of a collaboration between Philips and Swarovksi. It only makes sense, since gadget fashionistas prefer their gadgets encrusted with Swarovski crystals anyway. I don't know how diligent you are about backing up files, but if you don't mind carrying important stuff around your neck, these Active Crystals are protected by a user password. The sparkly 1GB USB pendants are available in four shapes: HeartWare, Heart Beat, Lock In and Lock Out. They'll be in stores come August, although prices haven't been disclosed yet. If its Swarovski, you can bet it will cost you a pretty penny. Do you think this will become a success?
Looks nice but i prob wont buy it. If i wear it around my neck there's a chance that i'll get mugged.
as nice as it is, i'd rpobably get real jewlry as opposed to these gadgets from swarovski a lof of their jewlry doesn't cost that much, relatively speaking most of their stuff is < 200 for necklace+pendant or earrings etc
I'll have more interest in buying it if it's a cell phone chain thing instead of a necklace pendant, not a necklace person myself...
i guess i'll worry abt once i can justify spending that much on a pretty useless item lolz 1 gb usb stick... ive still got my 2 x 40gb usb drives from so many years ago tho it was like nearly 200 each back then ><
good point lolz tho would u see urself wearing a crystal heart pendant on ur neck? on a girl, yep, guy... hmmph
I can image, the USB bling bling on a girl This thing has a dual use: Fashion object and hidden nerd ambitions. But on a man ... unless he is a rapper or pimp LOL
