Hi Canadian PA friends, I'm Australian Chinese, I'm visiting Canada BC in a few months time (for about 2 weeks or more) and I'm thinking of what I can do there. Any recommendations on where I should go and what things to do there? Much appreciated.
well u could visit the airport then visit a plane to toronto lol im sure jojo has a lot to say about van city..wait u said bc but not city
Hot springs are the shizzle... lots in BC, definitely worth checkin out one if u have the time... soo relaxin
Hmmm, let's see if I remember what I loved most about BC... The weather, but I guess you get plenty of sunshine and beaches in Australia. I adore Victoria, moreso than Vancouver, if you are asking about the city and its periphery, Vancouver can be somewhat caustrophobic with tourists during the season. If you enjoy hiking there are a few really beautiful trails on Vancouver Island (Victoria and region). What else, perhaps take a train and go to Banff and Whistler? But that's for skiing and the beautiful (though invested with bacteria) Lake Louise, which I have a feeling I mispelt its name. But for really local stuff, I am sure there are plenty of PA who knows Vancouver and BC like the back of their hand. Bon voyage~
Haha... there's the CN Tower... Even though I live in Canada for 10 year... Don't found much exciting places to go to... but I remeber going on a tour bus around Montreal and you get drop off at major destinations... So I guess you might consider that too... =/
Um, I thought kenshi was asking about BC... (?) But since I live in Toronto, I think if you are heading to Eastern Canada, go to Nova Scotia and New Foundland/ New Brunswick, the scenary is stunning and very different from the lush mountains of BC. Montreal is very glamourous and cheap for a destination, with lots of bars and clubs, very suitable for backpackers (though you can go very high end there too, but there's the option) Toronto relatively is much less interesting. I personally love going on wine tours in Niagara Falls, it is quite a sight, the falls
