well you can always try micro. word or just google it they give you templates and virtually give you all the places you need to type in... for example they got some parts where they say address, give your address its really simple just go to google and type in resume template or resume format

If you don't have a lot of experience to fill the cover letter, relate your school work (I hope you have school work) to their requirements, talk a little bit about yourself (if you practice music, piano or whatever for a few years, say that trains you to be extremely disciplined and apt at time management) be creative.
Of course, it all depends on what kind of job you are applying.

I just found out that the resume should fit exactly onto one sheet of paper so that should help. The coverletter is very easy to write too; just google it.

It depends, that rules only STRICTLY applies if it's your first or second job -- after a few years and a few jobs, few people can keep their resume under a page -- but as long as you are concise and to the point, 2-page resume is not a carnal sin.

In case you are interested, the idea behind a cover letter is to convince the employer (the person who's going to read your resume that you are THE perfect candidate for the job, and it's a sin to not hire you. So use whatever characteristics you have to match up their requirements and make the passage flow.

    mmm.

I say put down your education and try to match the requirements with what you learned in school. A good way is to look up the course description in the academic calender and pick up the key words.

Although experience is important, so companies like to hire new grads.

If it is just a regular job then I think it is a free for all.
