Ever since 7th grade, I've started getting acne. It sucks cause I have to deal with people seeing my face covered with acne. Those pimples cost major embarrassments at times. Like one time, a HUGE ZIT on my nose. It was horrible because when you talk to people you actually see them eyeing it and then they make eye contact afterwards. Well guys, I've found the cure for me. I've been going for a few months without anymore outbreaks. I've been staying hydrated everyday now, I drink about 1-2 bottles of water at school and additional water at home. Eat vegetables and fruits on a daily basis. And before I go out, I put lotion on my face(which is just about everyday). Ok, I've heard people say, putting lotion on clogs your pores. Yeah it does, but think of it this way, your pores are being clogged with lotion so that dirt doesnt. I wash my face after gym and practice. It's become a habit and I have not had a pimple since I started. The natural way of staying pimple free. Just try it, maybe it'll help you too.-boat
no.. it wasn't sarcasm... i'm just very impressed by your habits. i wish i was as motivated as you are.
It works. the only differnt i do is i put acne lotion before i go to bed. it help clear the scars produce when u pop ur acne.
^ acne lotion? go on. I still do have scars. Where can I get some of this product? I know I used to use this cream that's supposed to help with your acne, but it just causes dry skin.
you said "ever since 7th grade"? how long ago is that? maybe the oil your face produces has started to lessen and that also contribute to the clearing up of pimples? i dunno, i've heard that the place where oil and dirt clog your pores is deep inside your skin, so washing your face excessively won't necessarily stop pimples from forming.
well my acne really reflect the amount I sleep I tend to sleep very little, but then the days I took naps, i noticed my complextion was better stress factors, both mental and especially emotional also effect acne if i'm freaking out about a problem between friends or a bf, i notice an outbreak ha ha ha, so for those who have been following my posts can imagine what is going on with me now lastly, many girls will break out right before, or during there period damn messy hormones i tried proactive, i'm supprised, i tried many things, and it does a decent (not a 100%, but better than ALOT of prodcuts i've tried) on less stressful days, those olay (4in1) cleansing clothes also work well and you can take them on an airplain without them getting confiscating oh an hormones, lots of people's (girls) skins clear up a lot after they start taking birth control
I hear people say that taking birth control makes you chubbier... Dunno if it's fact or fiction... but that would be an interesting decision... skin vs weight... Back on topic, to summarize what most people have already said, diet, hygiene and lifestyle play a major role. Notable points... Diet: It's amazing the number of people that don't drink enough water on a daily basis. And of course, eat healthy. Hygiene: While it's good to keep your skin clean, you must also watch out that you don't dry out your skin. Cetaphil and Spectro Jel are good neutral cleansers. Water and/or Acne treatments dry out your skin. To counteract the effects, moisturize using the appropriate type of lotion (ie lighter lotions for clog prone skin). What works for one person may not work for you due to differences in skin type. Lifestyle: Sleep, stress and hormones cause breakouts. Try to lead an active lifestyle and you will be more restful, reduce stress and keep hormones more in check.
ACTUALLY, for some it will, for some it wont i have two friend who got chubbier after taking it and when i first started, i actually lost weight it was like my stomach shrank, i couldn't eat much, but i was hungry very fast too because i didn't eat that much, real annoying to deal with and lots of people dont have any reactions at all so . . . it's really hard to guess what will happen to you, unless you've tried it
If you guys cant be bothered doing all that, just go see a dermatologist ^^ Ask them about a medication called "roaccutane". Its a medication that you take for 6months. And after that, you won't get acne ever again! However, there are some side effects during the medication (those side effects dont carry on after the med, so don't worry) like dry skin, major breakouts in the first 2-3 weeks, no sexual activity cause it may cause birth defects, etc. But yeah, they aren't major side effects. I really think its worth it. I took it and yeah, I don't get acne anymore.
my friend went on this she TRIPPED OUT the hormones made her really aggrivated a lot, getting mad at everyone all the time she went off the meds, it's been like 2 years since. and now she's back to really bad acne again
