Anyone a karaoke fan out here? I've done some online competitions in the past. Maybe I'll post some of my stuff if other people post theirs D: And does anyone know any good Mandarin karaoke songs to sing? I need to find one for Chinese New Year since I'm supposed to sing for the Asian club here D:
i do i do!! but not many ppl would go with me coz i hang out with ABCs more n they r too shy to sing... -down
same here... i love singing k, but like dawn, my friends dun sing chinese -shrug definitely a fun way to spend time wif frnds, tho ^^
haha karaoke is awesome! best song of all time is definitely Teresa Teng's Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin. it's a classic. lol =D you guys should check out this site too: www.singshot.com the top singers arent that great (some suck a LOT), but it's fun listening to them sing lol
I suggested "Altar of the chrysenthum(spelling?)", the theme from "Curse of the Golden Flower" to my friend for Chinese New Year celebration event Just because it's Jay Chou and it sounded very chinese-y (the arrangement and sound effects).
Interesting site there. I actually use a similar site called Soundclick. Here's my account there; you can hear some of the crappy stuff I sang =P http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=622497 Bleh. Jay is sooooo hard to sing =P Do you know if there's a karaoke version of this song though?
hey i just listened to ur english songs... they're far from crappy... u have a really nice tone, keep singing -rockon
Nah I'm don't think that my voice is that good so I don't really do it but my parents love to. I've been afew times with my friends it was pretty fun
Hm... I am not too sure, but I think Jay Chou's Curse of Golden Flower EP has a piano instrumental version of the song. But it's not exactly the same mix of the song. Hey you can always try David Tao like "Black Tangerine" or some such Good luck
It's fun, as long as you are certain you are not the worst singer in the room O god, this thread makes me want to go K :(
has anyone ever sung those old english classics they usually have from like the 70s and 80s? XDXD when my friends sing those, it's hilarious ^^
I would sing K but as I cant read chinese (except the easiets stuff), ill would have to memorise the songs by heart which is too long...
I can't read Chinese either. Just find the romanized lyrics somewhere or get some friends or parents to romanize them into pin yin for you =P That's what I do, anyways.
lol, i can read most chinese. but yeah.. family does karaoke a lot at my house lol. but i dont have enough confidence to sing for them LOL!! i always want to go somewhere with friends to do it tho. seems so funnnnnnn!
