This is my quickie sangria recipe able to turn cheap red wine into drinkable party/dinner supplement. Please try and let me know what you think of it. -chef Ingredients: - 1 Bottle of the cheapest red wine with the highest alcohol percentage you can find. - 1 Orange - 1/2 Lemon - 1/2 Apple (optional, basically for looks only) - 1 Bottle of Fresca (Pop section, some sugar-free lemon tasting soda water) - Brandy or Citrus Vodka if you want to spike it up, required if your red wine is very cheap! - Lots of ice Directions: Chill the red wine in the fridge. Was the fruits with mild soap so it removes all pesticides and dirt. Either cut them in round slices or chunks with the skin attached. Put them in a large pitcher able to hold at least 2 litres of liquid. Pour in the cheap vin rouge and slightly press the fruits allowing them to release juices. Pour in helper alcohol as needed. Pour in Fresca and sample to your taste. I find 25-30% Fresca will not wash out the wine taste and comparable to stuff you buy in a restaurant. Put ice in when serving.
