Out of all of the Studio GHibli films amde so far, which one is your favourite? I think Miyazaki is a legend and so are all of the other creators of the Studio Ghibli films!! hehehehe My favourite has probably gotta be Grave of the Fireflies. It was the first one I ever watched and made me cry....(well, as I was only young, it is explainable I guess) So then, your thoughts?
hong maaaw aka "my friendly neighbour totoro" I watched it all the time when I was young! btw, does anyone have the canto dub of those movies? I have them on some old vcds, but the quality is kinda crappy...
Gave of the fireflies was so sad :( I like...Spirited Away, Howls Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind I love it!!!
I love kiki's delivery service. totoro is no doubt great too so it's hard to pick which is the favorite but all favorites hehehe.
ive only seen spirited away on the ig cinema screen. it was part of a convention thing and i was the onl one who went, te cinema was empty apart from me woot
Princess Mononoke, The Cat something..., and Spirited away <---- these are the only ones I like and have seen. These animes are somewhat old too.
hrmmm.... this is a tough one... haha they are all so good! Of the ones I've seen I like Howl's Moving Castle, The Cat Returns, Spirited Away, and last but not least Grave of the Fire Flies. pom poko was also good but dang, them were some frisky raccoons
Joy Gin Fung For Chung aka Grave of Fireflies ( I got the sweets that are in the anime aswell) and Hung Moa aka My neighbour Totoro!! I still cry when i watch it now lol
My favourite will always be Majo no Takkyubin aka Kiki's Delivery Service and Laputa: Castle in the Sky. I've watch them numerous times, in Chinese subs (on TVB) since I was really young. I adore many of the new ones also: Whisper of the Heart, Spirited Away (Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi) and Howl's Moving Castle... Not a big fan of Vally of the Wind nor Princess Mononoke (Mononoke Hime) though.
My first pick would be Laputa: Castle in the Sky and then Grave of the Fireflies, Pom Poko, and Nausicaa.
TOTORO!!!!!!! AH! HE MAKES ME SMILE! if totoro is a he... haha who knows could be a she, but either way i love him or her.. or rather it. also princess mononoke and spirited away
I like them all, but if i have to choose one, i'll choose " My neighbour Totoro ". I watch this over and over again and can't get enough of it.
It's between Grave of the Fireflies or Totoro for me. The Cantonese Totoro was the first Miyazaki film I ever saw when I was real young, and Grave was just too touching. Too hard to choose between these two for me.
I love My Neighbour Totoro~~ The big, medium and small! so so so cute!!! Spirited away is really good also. Kiki's delivery service and grave of the fireflies are some of my favourites.
