i love japan^^ the culture is very interesting, i love the sense of fashion,traditions, food, music,technology its all good^^ except my friend said when i go there it is very likely to get groped -.-
To all the people who are chinese and want to be japanese, it's retarded. From this forum most of want to be or love japanese because you like ANIME, damn that is fucked up. You say you like japan because of their culture? japanese culture is a rip off of chinese and korean cultures. Even Now japan is losing it's so called culture they are very americanized. I like the same things most of the people in this chatroom, but if japan didn't have anime or technology would people praise this country? Most of you think so highly of japanese like they are gods, that's just very sad, don't any of you have any chinese pride?
what I like about the Japanese is a sense of their own identity. I really respect anyone who has a sense of self identity and self respect. The Japanese have not rejected their culture for the sake of fitting into the western culture. Although sometimes this sense of patriotism can turn into racism.
Not only that but they are nomads that originally came from China and built a country what is now Japan. Look at the symbols of their calligraphy. its about the same if not shares the same similarity.
Yes completely agree with WYSANDMAN AND WILSONT06. One thing though, I don't think the Japanese want to acknowledge the above fact of their origin (originally came from China).
Quoted for F***ing Truth. Lets be honest here. Japan is failing and boring. Anime sucks total ass and their games are totally crap now (except maybe for Devil May Cry) . Technology wise they aren't really above that of other countries since they invent total rubbish, which are useless besides making you look stupid. The fact that many(from the west) like those katana swords or whatever, and samurai's and ninja's, is probably because they opened their doors to the west first, but guess what? Samurai's were weak, they dont compare with anything that the british, mongols and china churned out in the past while the swords look cool and all with that name but they are infact cheap ripoffs of the chinese diao and is useless as they can't pierce through armor. As for this ninja crap. Have you seen chinese movies where they sneak around dressed in black? well thats where it originated from. I'm sick and tired of these people who praise Japan and their non existing culture. Sure some of their stuff are great I agree but its a bit excessive wanting to be one. If you're Chinese and want to be one of them, then you're a total disgrace to our country. I know we should forget about the past and what they have done, but if I killed your Mum and Dad, will you forgive me? /rant over

japan are awsome coming up with very fancy technology and such....but come to think of it, they shouldnt get as much credit as socity gives them. japan never invented any of them....they just take something which already exists then make improvements on them. not that there's any problem with it....improvements are good too, but i just believe we need to look at the bigger picture. the country who invented these products should have more credit then the country who improves on them. other then that...ya...japs are great.
