back then lots of seriews had hk leading vet actors and only 1-2 china new faces to bring them up but now adays something is wrong with chinan series everyone is a new face and they look like weirdos cant comit to watching lol
New faces are good, but the plot and acting needs to be good too. I certainly don't want to see these 40+ year olds playing teenagers lol. I just find CDramas too long since there's roughly 30 hours of content vs 16-24 hours of the kdrama format. That's precisely why China's laws cracked down on the long episode dramas although they still skirt around that by making it into Parts I and II and so on.
Not really. They looks pretty good but I have to say the series is a bit long but that's how Mainland China do their dramas. i.e Joy of Life is a good example that it has no HK veterans in it and still received very good feedbacks. Wish there is more than just 1 like seeing there are more than just 1 person downloading this drama.
