Don't get me wrong because I appreciate you putting in the effort But I have tried with chrome, edge, FF and safari... unfortunately all with the same result that the link has been blocked. Personally I don't think it's worth it to have another webbrowser installed just for this sole purpose, but that's just me... *edit I also tried to look for a solution through different forums and it seems it's a common problem. But no one really has an answer regarding this issue =/
For those that want to try, perhaps go to https://myaccount.google.com/permissions after login and allow prompt. Besides removing 3rd party access on that page, this is the only setting left on the 3rd party permission page. zylo, meeko, ClonXy, l3lahzzz, jaden
ClonXy, jaden Thanks for trying. 1) Care to share which continent are you both in? I wonder if it's some EU or Asia restrictions? 2) if KilaKilaGirl shares the language of her script, maybe you can look at the settings of your browsers? (I'm thinking enabling javascript or something else). 3) Also, perhaps check your Cookies (on Firefox, under Settings, Privacy & Security, you'll find 3 options - Standard, Strict and Custom). If memory serves, I have had issues downloading using her script when Cookies to block is set to All 3rd Party Cookies). I don't think the issue is with KilaKilaGirl script. I think the issue is Google's need to track every single thing. Just my 2 cents.
I always double check my script before posting to ensure it is working. I always use the same dummy Google account to test it. I will try to make a new Google account and test it and see where I need to troubleshoot the problem.
Perhaps regional restrictions. It'll be interesting to see if any DA in North America have the same issues; assuming KilaKilaGirl is in North America. I'm in North America and I don't have any issues besides the initial cookies settings that I mentioned before. Don't misunderstand - I'm not saying your script has issues. I was just wondering if you are using javascript and if their browsers are disabling javascript, that will potentially stop the script from running.
The code won't matter since it is server-side in your google account. After many and many troubleshooting and fixing. I found out the solution to this. Let me fix the code a bit.
Just out of curiosity - zylo even tried new google account - how is it pre-2019 and post-2019 related? What did Google do pre-2019 and post-2019?
Yayyy it works now! THANK YOU SOO MUCH! With the new link I get the option to trust this link and continue. The first link it was blocked instantly and could only close it.
There is this article... you can read about it. https://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2019/12/18/google-to-choke-off-less-secure-applications/ It's funny because they're trying so hard on their end trying to make it works but it's my end that needs the tweak.
