Mandy Wong says filming "Exorcist's 2nd Meter" is much easier

When it comes to her two series, "Brutally Young" and "The Exorcist's 2nd Meter", which are both currently airing on TVB, Mandy Wong stated that filming the second one was much easier than the first.

In an interview with Mingpao recently, the actress shared that reprising her role as Dr. Felicity Chong in the sequel of her hit 2017 series was much easier compared to the newness of her character in "Brutally Young" not only because the series is a comedy, but also due to the fact that she is already familiar with it.

"My character in this series is more cheerful and lively, and I was very happy to return to the production," she said, adding that she also enjoyed cooperating with Kenneth Ma again, and working with new cast member C Jun.

However, the same cannot be said about the crime drama, in which she plays the role of Madam Yuen, an Inspector of Police investigating a murder case that occurred 18 years earlier.

"This is the series where I want to forget the character as quickly as I can as soon as shooting concluded. Since the plot is dark and heavy, involving family relationships, experiences of life and death, I basically entered into a state of suppression every single day. I had to wash my face every day from too much crying," she said.

The actress stated that it took her nearly half a year before she could finally get over the character, and added that it had touched a lot of emotions that she didn't want to touch.
