Louis Yuen recently admitted that he decided not to renew his contract with TVB so that he could focus on preparing for his concert and launching his music album. As reported on Mingpao, the TV personality, who sat down for an interview recently, admitted that he didn't think twice about sacrificing his contract with the company just so that he could fulfil his dream. "[TVB Executive] Virginia Lok had been looking forward for me to renew my contract, but I think you should never be too greedy. So for now, I will not renew my contract with TVB," he said. Asked why he made the decision, Louis said that TVB may give him more hosting roles and variety shows to do if he did so, and that such projects will take a lot of his time. "I have a concert to do and an album to launch. I won't be in my top condition if I am doing too many things at once, so for now I will focus on my career as a singer," he said. As to whether he will return to TVB after he achieved his goal, Louis said that he doesn't have such plan for now. "But my relationship with TVB is always good.
