Starring in the sequel of popular horror film 2014's "The House that Never Dies" by Raymond Yip, Gillian Chung (鍾欣潼) transforms into a ghost bride wearing the traditional wedding gown joining Julian Cheung (張智霖) and Mei Ting(梅婷) in the cast for "The House That Never Dies 2" ~ 《京城81號II》. It will be directed by Joe Chien (錢人豪) (‘Zombie Fight Club’), and will focus more on the mysterious ghostly goings-on at the legendary haunted mansion on Chaoyangmennei Street in Beijing. Speaking of her costume, Gillian said, "This time is probably my most creepiest costume and the most exhausting role. Within the film, I'm dead however I have been 'blessed' with a ghost baby inside me and I have to vie for my husband's attention against his wife. During the shoot, no one dared to walk around the set by themselves as it was that scary.
