Been waiting for a puller from TVB and this one has all the theatrics, production, cast, and horror genre that I like. I just wished the actual duration of the drama to be a bit longer. I hope this drama delivers. The manly lgbt detective is the catalyst here.
i saw tvb tweeting out this series(on weibo) lmao i knew tvb and viu are allies but comeon somethings going on here maybe thats why they aired old series(phoe rising) to lend them some viewers
this guy rolled up the yelllow ghost strip and smoked it like weed Lol Viu pushing the envelope with that
lol I know right?! Saw that part and I was thinking he was guna offer it to the old man~ But he smoked it instead First two mins, did not scare me ~ I would have thought they make the room more creepy etc ~ Anyhows on to the second ep now lol ~~ P.s thanks for the sticky lol
epis are way too short to have any excitement n attention built in. low key sun por and lgbt madam are two hotties.
So i've just watched up to episode 4 at the moment - its going okay, its slowwly introducing the characters. I knew the episodes was short but like this is super short...makes me feel like i'm watching naruto!! I may have to wait for more episodes to come out then binge watch. LOL at the VR with ofudas to see if there was ghosts around, i thought it was pretty cool that the guy knocked the madam out with a spell and did that handy thing with the cuffs.. I want to see more of the spell work the two guys can do. The two younger members remind me of a younger version of ram chiang and annie man
After watching episode 5, it's defo building up. Considering the fact that i watched this under my covers in the dark, that wasn't very smart lol The 'fear' is there lol But they are beginning to go abit deeper into the case. Like finalllyyy
Actually, I am disappointed about the delivery of this drama. The teaser looked so good, but the actual presentation to the audience fell really short. You can't use the same attention tactic for a horror series. Horror genres take time to build up, and it simply doesn't work in this time frame. It's obvious, but I am telling it like it is. You can't use Come Home Love duration and make a horror series that way. Doesn't work. So much potential, but just a big flop. I would give it a C, only because of the marketing hype.
So i finally finished watching this. The cases were starting to build up into something good and i did enjoy the last couple ones but it just felt a bit lacklustre. Shame the girl died but everything was so rushed. The story is there but i don't think they've done a good job in transforming it into action. I did like the comic book effect when they were talking about the origins but the real life action of the end 'battle' was meh. The finale - can i even call it that? Disappointment - i know they left it open ended with the madam going to learn the arts but i wasn't impressed. I just hope with season 2 they can really wrap up the super loose ends and conclude everything nicely. Maybe even change the format as well, episodes are way too short. Frustration because it's filled with filler, flash backs and like only 10 mins of actual action.
Episodes too short. Morr so, the guy was charged with murder and they wheeled the kid away. LoL. Dumb. Like Ivr been saying, the commercial.cuts where the peeps staring at you looked scary. But that skinny guy. lol
Psycho Detective 2 - 詭探前傳 is now airing on Viu TV every weeknight (started on 29th April 2019) It will also be a 30 episodes drama/series.
