If you remember your pserve account, just log in and upgrade it. It will work instantly as it's automated once you have an account. If you forgot your username or pw let me know.
The downloads speeds are very erratic and inconsistent - it varies from 350kb/sec to 1.5 Mb/s . I opened up 4 lanes in my Internet Windows Manager [ latest version ] - and so far I never got 55 gigs a day as cap? - maybe Pserve calculates as 1024 bytes , like the Hard drive calculations.? So what can I say.......about the service?
Niteghost, currently the cap is 110GB / 2 days, I'm not sure why you're getting capped earlier, you are the only member that have PM'd me about this. When i check our temp logs it says you've downloaded 796 files more than 200GB in the past 5 days that is enough content to last you for weeks if you watch 24/7 nonstop. Regarding the speed, it depends where your location/distance to our servers which are located in europe, I get a steady 1.2mb/sec all the time tho... I'm in Toronto, Canada. anyways, if you are unhappy with pserve just let me know and I'll refund you right now.
Well, is not about getting my refund back, I will gladly "donate" to this site,cause I think you run it very efficiently. Just curious to the fact, that I never got 110 gigs/2 Days - Will tally again,what I had downloaded so far. Thanks for the response. Update : Just finished a tally again on some new downloads, AFTER Waiting more than 24 hours - got the 55 Gigs/day cap. My bad for all the "noise".
Lost 2 hard drives today, I tried plugging a different modular cable to my psu and it cooked it ( thankfully just 2) lost tons of work, movies, and my asian series =( what a bad day today,
did you turn off your computer and unplug the PSU? and did you discharge any static on yourself and your tools before touching your computer?
I'm having speed issues with PServe last 2 days. Tried downloading at home and at work, very slow speeds.
Hey Drunken, checked the servers and there seems to be nothing wrong and haven't received any maintenance calls either. Speeds are fine from my end as well. Did u try downloading from other sources to see if your download speed is normal?
Still very slow. I"m getting 30Kbps. About 2 months back I downloaded Virtues of Harmony. Did that send me over the limit? After that, its pretty much just been daily epsiodes of current shows. Only other change, I switched to gigabit fios recently, so my IP would've changed.
Send me a PM with your IP (don't post your IP here). You're in NY right? Speeds shouldnt be that slow with a gigabit line especially in NY.
Bandwidth limit for your ISP? bc if you reach the download limit for the server you wouldn't be able to download at all. Ah well... glad it's working now
