Recently formed Japanese boyband Johnny's West has been littered with negative news lately, Ryusei Fujii (藤井流星) was caught smoking and drinking, which is heavily frowned upon by the agency, whilst the youngest member who is still a minor at 19 years old, Kotaki Nozomu (小瀧望) was also exposed to be drinking and smoking and that he was in a relationship with NMB48 member Akari Yoshida (吉田朱里). However, what was most shocking was that fans had somehow come across the knowledge that there was an eyewitness who had seen Kotaki Nozomu taking his girlfriend to an Ob-Gyn Hospital to undergo an abortion, his mother was also present with them. It was already rumored that Kotaki had knocked someone up during July, but this eyewitness account seems to have cemented that speculation. Last year, he had worked with Tomohisa Yamashita (山下智久) on a JDrama Movie "Close Range Love"《近距離戀愛》but his popularity within the group is still pretty low. ~~~ cred: oncc
If the story is true than this guy is trash, these type of stuff will make fans hate you, bad publicity will kill your career.
Smoking is pretty common in Japan, so I'm not sure why it's frowned upon (if you're not a minor). While they're suppose to have the perfect image, it's nothing too surprising. As for underaged Kotaki, I won't be surprised if he got kicked out of the group. One, it's Johnny's, they have one of the strictest rules as a company in the world. Dating (especially if the group is just formed) and social media are banned. Morimoto Ryutaro of Hey!Say!JUMP was caught with underage smoking (with pictures published). He was suspended from the group and I think he's out of the company now. Kotaki doings is 10x worst than Ryutaro, so he'll probably get kicked out if it was true. This will literally kill his career.
All I can say is he's bought it all on himself if he does get kicked out, he's the least well known out of the group anyways. I'm surprised his company hasn't even said anything yet about it ~ but i'll keep an eye out for any updates
With HSJ being 10 members initially, having Ryutaro kicked out wasn't that noticeable to the public eye. He was literally the least known out of the group. In fact, it always has been and still is Yamada being the main of the group. Usually everyone rotates in every song with the number of lines, but Yamada is the only member that stayed with being the main (never rotated out). And he was one of the members that never got a chance of being the center despite the rotations (just not popular enough in the group to have a chance). Even Johnny's suspended Jin Akanishi's activities. It was "shotgun" to the public, but he was a grown ass man (like 27-28 at the time). He was suspended because he didn't notify his company about his marriage. While he's at fault, come on. He already made a name for himself in Japan already and at the time he already officially left KAT-TUN a year or two prior. He's not longer a Johnny's though (didn't renew) so at least he's finally free.. Sad to say, it's like Jessica. You really don't notice she's missing from SNSD8 performances. That's what happens when you have a lot of members in your group.
