With three of his dramas - Madam Cutie On Duty <師奶MADAM >, My “Spiritual” Ex-Lover <倩女喜相逢>, and Master of Destiny <風雲天地> - released this year, Edwin Siu (蕭正楠) is said to have high chances of snatching an award at the 2015 TVB Anniversary Awards. In addition, there are chances that two of his other dramas, No Reserve <巾幗梟雄之諜血長天> and Short End of the Stick <公公出宮> will also be broadcast before the big night. Speaking of nominations for the awards ceremony, Edwin expressed, “I don’t know if the other two series will be aired this year, but I’m glad that my characters vary in personality. I’m lucky to be able to serve as comic relief and am not worried about viewers finding me boring. However, receiving an award or not does not depend on the number of my aired dramas.” When asked if he is determined to win at least the Most Improved Male Artiste Award in order to level with his girlfriend Priscilla Wong (黃翠如), Edwin remarked, “I never thought about that. Speaking of goals, I still have a long way to go when it comes to winning TV King. I hope to compete for Best Supporting Actor, since many of my costars are just as brilliant, including Ram Chiang (蔣志光) and Joseph Lee (李國麟). It’s best to have some competition, because receiving an award easily doesn’t mean anything. The harder the more fun!” In terms of the currently broadcast Master of Destiny starring Edwin as a couple with Mainland Chinese actress Natalie Meng (孟瑤), Edwin laughed and expressed, “Our chemistry is pretty good with our love-hate relationship. We serve as comic relief in this otherwise heavy series.” Edwin added that he hopes to improve his acting skills by portraying characters with both a good and dark side, since a role of inner struggle and contradiction often lead to breakthroughs. Edwin had nothing but praises for his girlfriend, Priscilla. He expressed joyfully, “Getting to know her was a very happy thing – it’s my treasure. There are not many people who are as simple as her. She is my dating goal! For the moment, we haven’t thought about our upcoming years since we want to focus on our careers. From the title, I thought it was saying Edwin Siu was "getting" "High" LOL and then I scrolled down... He's been in quite a few popular series recently ~ not sure if he deserves deserves it but he will be a strong contender
i don't mind him, but for the life of me can't remember why he fell from grace many years ago.... when he was a singer, he was quite popular from memory?
Everything working well for him, but he's still not the lead actor. He needs to win something to move up the ladder.
I love Edwin, his acting skill is good! Hope he will get more Main Role especially now.......TVB is losing a lot of good actors
Edwin and Priscilla not a bad couple. But he's one of few actors that are in line for the leading roles soon. Right now, he's not a lead role yet, but can do better than supporting.
I hated the see lai madam series lol need to finish MOD is he really good in it he was great in Brothers Keeper ...no ruco and linda in bk2 he is the lead star
Don't finish Master of Destiny.. not worth it just for Edwin I thought Ruco was in BK2? Or just a cameo?
