Yea, cause technically it's a continuation of the old one.. just switching cast. On the bright side, I know I've said it many times but I really hope they revisit the idea of bringing back the Ma Family. For those of you that didn't know, the plan was to make a spinoff of the Ma Family, but they scrapped that idea. IMO, there's still hope for that. Lots of comments saying without Ma Family, CHL won't be the same.. and it's true. I really wished they used a different name for the Louis/Priscilla spinoff, and use CHL 2 for Ma Family spinoff. Fingers crossed so they bring them back :(. Litterally the best sitcom I've started, and I've started since the series AFTER Off Peddar ended
it's not a full continuation.... 2nd ep into the 'new' CHL and the guy who used to work under Gino is now no longer that character... Same actor, same show (suposidly continuation) but different role/character now.. dafuq TVB..?
Yep, Katy Kung (Gem) comes back in another role too I believe. Same with Leung Fun's mom, no longer the manager of the restaurant.

It's a spin off but they shouldn't continue it like it's the same show. Some actors are playing different roles already. It just cause confusion.
If it's a TRUE spinoff, they shouldn't change the damn roles! Where's the "Come HOME Love" without the Ma family? wtf.

it's stupid to use the same name if it's a new cast and having some old cast as different character. with so many people complaining before the new show even started, they should've just changed the name. seems like they just like to do exactly what people don't work >_> everyone likes the ma family, new show = no ma family. everyone loves john and alex's love story, new show = absolutely nothing about them. if anything, the new ''spinoff'' should've been about john and alex and not the new cast.
Ratings should be out next week, also curious. But for last week: Come Home Love - 愛.回家 (EPS 800-804) - 24 PTS (Peaking at 27 PTS). 1 Point= almost 65k viewers
ep #003... still zzZZzz. There's no real story/substance yet. Kinda disappointed, considering a lot of viewers would judge a series' performance/viability based on first few eps.
HOW is this even remotely on the same storyline as the original... They should call it something else... I mean it went from MA family owning a consignment store and lawyers to a chinese herb and fitness center.. WTF... how is that even the same... retarded.. AND I hate how they sometimes talk directly to the camera stating the obvious stuff.. MoD sucks too... i stopped watching it.. I may end up not following this series also... wow.. what a crappy month...
