I don't know what it is, but whenever I hit the 'start' download, I NO LONGER get the prompt to save my file. But I can still download torrents and save other files. It seems like I can't connect to these sites like before and so I can't DL the things you folks post. Please help. thanks.

Like blee said, try a different browser.

    Did you somehow blocked ddl?

Try using jdownloader, I been using that to dl stuff from filehosts.

try using a different PC on the same internet. if you get the same problem, then it is an ISP problem. If you don't, then there's something wrong with your PC.

    i don't think o

i mean. today it was working for a bit, but it takes a long time. i think the torrent dl messes up w/ the download from these file sites.

its wierd. like 5 mins ago, i closed my torrent then dled from mediafire. it works, and now a few mins. im dling form zippy share, and it won't go through.

I even rebooted my router and modem. Is there anything else I can do? I don't have another computer to try. Would any plug ins or etc. affect it? I even updated java. I just don't get why it would work, and not work. Could it be Windows update? Thanks.

I now noticed that the file will DL, and then it would prompt me to save. and when it saves. it would complete already. i guess the file is DLed in the background now?

What do you mean by "it didn't work"? So, when you click on "Download, you don't get a pop-up prompt to save the file?

have you actually tried as b suggested? unless you actually start testing and eliminating things you aren't going to get anywhere. so far it seems like you've only tried using a different browser - that's from what i can see from your posts. i'm afraid you're going to need to do much more than that.

different browser - you've tested this.
wired vs wireless connection - have you tested this? if wired have you tested a different cable?
different computer - have you tested this?

it times out. it's like the M CLOUD. it'll download in back ground then ask me to save. some servers work, but for bitshare, and dfile, it'll time out.

Borrow a friend's laptop? If you can't do that, then the only thing I can think of is formatting your PC to see if that helps. I can tell you now that there is nothing wrong with any file hosts site, so the problem lies within your PC or network/ISP.

Thanks B-LEE> I will try. I mean, I just dont' get why the file will DL in the backgroud before prompting me. It all started to act like this when I did a WIN8 update I think, or DLing from MCLOUD server. Yes, the links do work, but just weird how my PC would DL in the back, then prompt me to save.

    Sigh.. I'll try though. Thanks..
