After her husband committed suicide due to a business failure, she single-handedly raised her three sons to adulthood, also establishing her own business empire, Sun Hon Lik, in the process. Now ready to retire, she is prepared to pass down her empire to her three sons. Wow Lau Hoi Wai is in this? Really missed him! I still remember him in 'A Kindred Spirit" from the 90's.. he still looks so good and cute So many Beijing actors in this lol. Too bad. First EP was quite ok, really hated Edwin's character haha and I agree, the oldest brother could have been Lisa's husband!
let's fight to be heir of a) the throne or b) yet another company.. weeh. let's take option b this time. and throw in a healthy dose of memory loss of character of relative importance somewhere near the end of the show.
the show is not that bad actually, i assume it's mainly because mainland china had to do with scrip writing instead of hktvb's crappy scripts. only thing annoying me is the amount of mainlanders. no offense to them but i thought i was watching a tvb (hk) show. don't really like to watch synchronised stuff.
after about 8 epi's in - its very slow going series..! actor and actresses have so much makeup going on...even the dudes are wearing red lippy..!
