"waste time" - China is a huge cash cow for the talents and the company. Heard Chilam Cheung is on fire in China! Perhaps, that's the reason for making Mandarin. Or perhaps, you have more Mandarin speaking Chinese vs Cantonese speaking Chinese by a huge margin. Just because you nor I speaks / understands Mandarin doesn't equal to "waste time" for the company or the talents!

Yeah I always love how Canto speaker's know both while Mandarins only know there's majority wise, but agreed they making they're $$. And Mandarin is the mother language... Yup even though I'm sure half the money from China is dirty....IMO...
I have learnt one thing from all these comments... One can either learn to have more patience or learn Mandarin. Haha.
