Not sure if this might help. Seems like you have trouble extracting the .rar files. Maybe you could try the new winzip 5.0 as I had trouble extracting certain files a while ago until I start to use the new WinZip 5. I have 7-zip too but I usually switch between them if one doesn't work. Good luck.
