Then the hitmen get a new partner, a nervous young rookie named Shan (Jacky Cheung), who starts off badly by blowing an assignment, but soon becomes proficient at his bloody work. As Han trains Shan, Ngok is being blackmailed into turning informant by the police, who have discovered the whereabouts of his daughter. Naturally, Han is assigned to kill his old friend for his traitorous behavior, but can't do it. It doesn't much matter, as both Ngok and his daughter are soon murdered, but the triad boss is becoming suspicious of the pair's loyalty, so he kidnaps Shan's girlfriend, who is soon killed as well when she attempts to escape.
