Eventually, she decides on the latter, putting him under the care of long time friend and fortuneteller Uncle Ying (Law Kar-ying). When Ah Fai falls off a tall building onto his head, he somehow only sustains mild injuries. While he is getting operated on, the doctors discover a massive tumor in his brain and remove it. The operation not only restores him to proper health but his I.Q. suddenly goes through the roof and he even discovers that he has ESP. Soon, Ah Fai is making a killing as a fortuneteller.
