While on the lam, he accidentally saves the life of ace swordwomen Jinx (Teresa Mo). Meanwhile, his in-laws Tung (Sam Hui) and Gut (Sandra Ng) tend to their dying mother (played by Ricky Hui in a bit of inventive casting) who refuses all medical treatment until Lam returns home. While all this is going on, beautiful young lass Snow White (Rosamund Kwan) flees her father's controlling household by dressing as a man and venturing into town.
