Details Title: The Unbelievable, 怪谈 Genre: Documentary (based on true story/tv show), Supernatural, Thriller, Nudity, CAT III Director: Chan Tat Nin 陳達年 Cast: Szeto Fat Ching 司徒法正, Rachel Chan 陳 曉華 YesAsia Synopsis Based on Hong Kong Cable TV's popular paranormal phenomena program of the same name, The Unbelievable is a documentary-style movie that throws the audiences to the twilight zone...and beyond! Rated Category III for its shocking scenes of horror, violence and nudity, the reality program-turned-movie features extreme content that makes the TV version look tame in comparison. With famous feng shui master Szeto Fat Ching in the lead, the beautiful program host Rachel Chan and the production crew go on a terrifying journey deep into Southeast Asia. They break all taboos to investigate places in Thailand and Malaysia where cases of a supernatural nature have been reported, taking audiences inside a morgue and other sites of ghostly happenings. Director Chan Tat Nin (producer of the original TV program) skillfully edits together scenes depicting close encounters with the occult, including black magic, exorcism, witchcraft, spirit possession, haunted village, ouija board, and ghost-rearing. dont think ill watch it. would be interesting for anyone that enjoys scary movies. review i found: First of all, "The Unbelievable" is not for the faint of heart. With extreme scenes showcasing dead bodies from the 2004 tsunami tragedy to a man who had committed suicide by hanging himself in an abandoned house, "The Unbelievable" proves to audiences from the Chinese-speaking region that it is one of the best documentaries around dealing with the supernatural. For serious X-Files junkies out there, this is precisely the sort of movie you would want to see. "The Unbelievable" explores cases of voodoo practice, life after death, exorcism, ghostly haunting and spiritual communication, which is mainly based in Bangkok, Thailand. Malaysia is also part of their exploration. Compared to the TV version, "The Unbelievable" has the same special effects. However, one piece of advice: viewer discretion is strongly advised because you're going to sit through about one and a half hours for it. The shooting process follows very much like the reality TV show, where the camera is continuously recording live in areas with paranormal activities. Pay closer attention and you might find yourself staring at something strange. The camera placement is very much the same throughout the entire movie, with the standard 45 degree angle as the opening shot. The show-it-all format in "The Unbelievable" is by far the most interesting factor of the movie. "The Unbelievable" is fresh and at the same time informative for anyone who is always asking questions pertaining to life and death. It is truly an eye-opening experience for all.

fake as in, it looks like they set it all up...like when the girl gets possessed by a thai ghost, all she speaks is cantonese.
first of all that place is in yi bou ( a place in malaysia) and i think that place where the girl get possessed , the people (ghost ) there speak canto.
It's not scary at all and so lame. The only thing I saw was they put these girls in the act who were screaming and crying in almost every scenes in attempt to make the viewers feel scared. I mean...these girls were so overreacted and it got to a point that it just got so annoyed by their screaming and crying. If they don't have the guts, why even put them on the show.
yep this documentary is so lame the stupid gals jus screams for no obvious reasons, n with those malay guyz, killing fish n chickens alive doesnt mean they hav spiritual powers so lame. i rather watch Lam ching ying movies =p
yes...the one place where someone gets posessed they conveniently speak canto....if that girl starts spouting out another language she doesnt usually speak ill be impressed.
