Tony Leung is Big Dagger, a bounty hunter who, with his brother Little Dagger, is hired by an evil warlord to capture the outlaw Fox 'O' Nine Tails (Jackie Cheung). The brothers have competition in the form of two witches (Cheung Man and Gloria Yip) who are also after the reward money but after the Fox proves to be quite elusive the two sides team up. Further complications come though when the Fox's wife, Flying Cat (Maggie Cheung), comes to rescue her husband.
