Legendary Hong Kong filmmaker Tsui Hark finally returns to the big screen with his epic wuxia adventure, Seven Swords. The story is based on the acclaimed novel Seven Swordsmen From Mountain Tian by Liang Yu Sheng, creator of such classic tales as The Bride With White Hair.
Set in China in the 1600s, Seven Swords tells the story of a country ravaged by violence. The Manchurians have taken over the sovereignty and established the Ching Dynasty. The people are rising up all over the country in attempts to overpower their new rulers, but with little success. The government has imposed a nation-wide ban on the practice of all martial arts, in an attempt to maintain law and order throughout the land.

The evil general Fire Wind (Sun Hong Lei) seeks to profit from this situation by leading a squad of executioners through the country, killing anyone caught practicing martial arts, and collecting a bounty from the government for doing so. He heads directly for Martial Village, a small settlement that so far has managed to hold out against the Manchurians invading force, but has yet to encounter Fire Wind and his army.

Fu Qing Zhu (Lau Ka Leung, who also serves as the film's stunt coordinator) plays a retired executioner from the previous dynasty, who warns the villagers of the impending threat. Together with two young warriors, Wu Yian Yin (Charlie Yeung) and Han Zhi Bang (Lu Yi), Fu journeys to Mount Heaven to seek help from the great master of swords, Master Shadow Glow (Ma Jing Wu). Four of the master's finest disciples, played by Leon Lai, Donnie Yen, Duncan Chow and Tai Li Wu are assigned to help the villagers, aided by awesome weapons forged by Master Shadow Glow. Together they become the Seven Swords and return to the village to confront Fire Wind...

I suggest to use bitcomet to download torrent files as this is the best and most flexible program at www.bitcomet.com

To view these files you need to download VLC media player and the K-lite video/audio pack. From www.videolan.org and www.afterdawn.com/software

    Enjoy...and plz Seed afterwards,,,thanks :) :) :)

Note.... Subtitles are available from http://www.subtitles-divx.net/217488/Seven+Swords+(Qi+jian).html. The subtitles are already available in the correct format ".srt". But in order for them to work especially with windows media player you must download the codec pack above and a unzip program, to extract the subs from subtitles-divx.net. I recommend tugzip from www.tugzip.com. Once you done all of that RENAME the sub file to the same name as the video file, for example the video file is "Dragon" rename the sub file to "Dragon.srt" then it works as a charm with windows media player.

Okay, so I watched this movie a few days ago. I thought it was okay actually. I didn't really find it too interesting. But then again, it could just be me. Maybe I had expectations that were too high. Cuz when I saw this. I was like OOO DOOODE! This looks hekka pimp. But then I watched it and i was like umm, it's okay. haha. But anyways, is it worth watching? I guess so. Just try it out! =) And I would like to thank the poster for posting! =)
