well why not just convert to a VCD / DVD and just changed the mono/stereo on your dvd player? then no need to worry about getting it done before hand, and it might be good too if u have a Taiwanese friend wanting to watch it, and now he has the mandarin lang. to listen to... you will have to get a TV with HDMI cuz really if you use a converter/adapter to change to it, you are dragging down the quality and as well as you will probably see not much of a difference if you are watching a BT'ed movie or drama since their quality is not at the highest...u could see a clearer picture however on original source of the movie/drama...quality-wise will be blurr too for every thing above since the videos were in RMVB format with a limited screen size....and you can expect to have a small screen sized movie to be in DVD quality even if u used HDMI --- TSOD 13-14 VCD-RMVB (HDZone) Dual-Lang BT TSOD 13-14 VCD-RMVB (6th Sense) Dual-Lang BT TSOD 7-9 DVD-RMVB (6th Sense) Canto-Lang BT

TMPGEnc and Goldwave I sometimes do it with a free program called Goldwave. When I convert the dual lang. rmvb file with TMPGEnc, I get a mpeg2 file with both languages. I demultiplex the mpeg2 file to a video and audio file. Open the audio file with Goldwave, delete the mando channel, copy and paste the Canto channel into the deleted mando channel. Save it as a wav file or mp3. Then use TMPGEnc to combine the video and audio, burn to dvd. Lots of work, don't do it often. I'm still looking for a converter that will duplicate one channel to both when converting to mpeg2.

Wow! That is a long process Whoos. Why don't you just get the dvd version instead? Most of the new series are tv rip and the quality isn't that great. Also, there is an annoying logo at top and the annoying message to tell you to delete it in 24 hours.
