    pfftt...same thing with anime....TVB can only slow it down for a short time. you can't stop this. if people wanna upload and download their series, nothing can be done. period.

    yes just started today

    legal actions can be taken, they trace the uploader's IP, contacts the ISP (service provider), ISP contacts you (release your info to them), legal documents are sent out to ISP and ISP forwards a copy to you, ready for a lawsuit, is not hard for them, don't even think if you upload from a Internet cafe, cuz PA can also log your IPs for just logining in, eventually they can find out...these are the things they CAN do

    You are such a PC geek. Anyway, is there anyway to prevent this? The question is if TVB gradually get all this info, it will commit a lawsuit. Eventually, we will not have any TVB series to watch esp those downloaded from the internet.

    Ya, but we do not wish for ppl who post to get into any kind of trouble or lawsuit, esp when they r doing this voluntarily and not for any kind of gains. Why should TVB stop this when nobody is making any monetary gains but I guess TVB is losing out financially.

    oh...i didnt mean it that way. i meant that. since its faster than renting and also that its "FREE" people won't stop. if they take action against one. another will just spring up. its been done many times already. heck...Mininova? animesuki.. anyone?
