yeah, i've just read the announcement.. this is confusing, will there still be new episodes available? especially in here..
Uh-oh.. That really sucks... What that mean is the people who rip the programs, that is, get the electrons off of their television or DVDs and put them onto a central site to distribute may be no more. This may go the way of people having to upload to usenet or do torrents themselves. If TVB was smart, they should have offered their entire library for download at a set cost.
then i hope there'll be a new central site to get them.. there's nowhere to rent/buy original tvb series in my country, what else could i do..
TVB's site is mostly in Chinese and for English other non Chinese reading viewers, their site is difficult to navigate. Most of us have to go to those seedy side street rental places. If you click on the "English" link in TVB.com, it will simply bring you to their English language programming (Pearl) section (and not an English translation of their Chinese programming site). <_<
your answer doesn't answer my point for replying your "they should have offered their entire library for download at a set cost." -- my answer is that they do have such thing as offering it, and if the user can't navigate the site, then thats too bad, BUT THEY DID OFFER A PAID SUBSCRIPTION IN GETTING DRAMA DOWNLOADED.
