Equivalent to R +18, usually for softcore porn (since HK does not have uncensored X rated pornographic material), or sensitive themes (a lot of triad based movies are Category III).
Links are ALL working. If you want a torrent just ask for one. I know you were just too lazy to check the links. Btw, even if I uploaded 1 link files to filefactory, or ul.to or rapidshare you STILL won't be able to download it since you can't download such big files with a free account. Whiners and lazy people please kindly GTFO.
The "Cat" in Cat 3 is short hand for film category insofar as the Hong Kong Motion Picture Rating System goes: Level One: Suitable For All AgesAll ages admitted. Level Two: Not Suitable For Children (pre-1995 legacy rating)The Government suggests parental guidance when watching the film. This rating is now superseded by levels and Level Two-A: Not Suitable For ChildrenThe Government suggests parental guidance when watching the film. Level Two-B: Not Suitable for Young Persons and ChildrenThe Government suggests parental guidance when watching the film. Level Three: Persons Aged 18 and Above OnlyNo one younger than 18 years of age are permitted to rent, purchase, or watch this film in a movie theatre. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hong_Kong_motion_picture_rating_system Note, like the other respondent already mentioned, there is no such thing as graphic full view sex allowed in HK's rating system as such films are technically considered illegal. However, the world being what it is, such films do get circulated in HK and have have sometimes been loosely (albeit incorrectly as there is no such thing) referred to as "Cat 4" or "4th level" media. Against the American rating system most Cat3 type movies would qualify for an R rating, though some may actually be given an X rating because of strong visuals. There are none that would qualify for a triple X rating except for one film (Trilogy Of Lust) that was released back in 1995. I suspect it was strictly for the overseas market only as the audio from the one I'd seen was overdubbed in German. The movie had on screen explicit sex (coitus, fellatio) and not just those "blink and you miss it" quickies, but real honest to goodness porn. Additionally, if somewhat ironically, Vulgaria has nothing in the way of traditional Cat3 antics (implied sex through a variety of ingenious visual or audio methods) that most previous HK Cat3's are famous for. Rather, the Cat3 rating was likely given because of the verbal content; the subject matter being discussed is not only totally adult but vulgar to the extreme. If ever there was an appropriate title for a movie, this one fits it like a tee. *** And LOL at this: And he says it with a smile too...
Cool thanks for all the explanation I always thought Cat III was like porn. but then someone on the forum said this movie has no nudity, so I got totally confused Thanks heaps.
